Rare BECO model 503 spot lamp / wall sconce by Don Brown / Brown Evans & Co (BECO) Melbourne, Australia c,1950s.
Identified as early 1950s, on account of it's joining bracket.

Undoubtably the best on the market, this light has been professionally restored to an outstanding condition.

By designer/ architect Donald Brown. Rare/ collectable wall double wall sconce.
C,1947 - 1964.

A very rare example of a commercial lighting fitting produced by BECO. 
Large wall sconce shaped like that of a bullet, or fin of a period car.
Reflector light using a polished interior and ceramic bulb housing, giving it the ability to use high wattage bulbs for strong light.

BECO lighting was recently featured on Australian Restoration on ABC. Where a period house in Beaumaris, Melbourne was being restored along with its original light fittings. 
These lights were choice pieces by architects of the time and were cutting edge in their design principals and materials. 

Condition-
Fully restored. Re-wired. Clear aluminium baked finish.
