An impressive large & rare mid century articulating draftsman's wall lamp.
By Louis Christiaan Kalff, for Philips Netherlands c,1959. Model NB92. 
In original yellow aluminium shade with a solid mahogany wall mount.

Design/ origin-
The ultimate in collectable mid century lighting. Large sized articulating drafting wall lamp, designed for the function of desk use. 
Designed by Louis Kalff, who is known for some of the World's most recognisable mid century lighting and also made Philips stand out during his time with the company dating as far back as 1925.

Lighting designs don't come any better than this, functional & attractive. UFO style large shade in pale yellow, with secondary inner plastic reflector. 
The light pivots from a wall mountable plate, with two large arms for an extra long reach of 1.5 meters. 
There is the option of mounting the wall plate vertical (as shown) or horizontal. To give the user the exact light position while working.

Condition-
Fully re-wired and in original cosmetic condition. 
A new solid piece of Mahogany has been added as a wall mount. However this can be removed to suit installation requirements.
There are the usual minor scratches as expected. 
Large LED bulb shown is included.
